Terms of Service

Effective September 2026

IconPop is made by one person and sold directly, with no subscription and no fine print worth hiding. These terms say so formally.

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using IconPop, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. "We", "us", and "Mee" mean the maker of IconPop, reachable at contact@mee.cc. "You" means whoever is using it.

The app

IconPop is a macOS utility for changing folder icons. It requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon. It is distributed from iconpop.mee.cc; it is not yet on the Mac App Store, and if that changes, the App Store's own terms apply alongside these ones for that copy.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run IconPop on Macs you own or control, for as long as these terms are in effect. IconPop itself — its code, design, and the six generated icon collections — belongs to Mee. You're not buying the app; you're buying a license to use it.

You may not redistribute, resell, or rehost the installer; reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law permits regardless of this restriction; or remove any notice of authorship from it.

Your content

Anything you import into IconPop — your own images, icons, or artwork — stays yours. We never see it; it lives on your Mac. You're responsible for having the right to use whatever you import; IconPop doesn't check, the same way Finder doesn't check.

Icons composed from SF Symbols on a folder can be applied to your own folders, but can't be exported as a standalone file — that's a limit of Apple's SF Symbols license, not an IconPop restriction we chose. Details are on the FAQ.

Free and paid

IconPop is free to download and free to use for its core purpose, permanently: all six generated collections, applying icons to as many folders as you like, Restore, Recently Changed, and the preview. Nothing about the free tier expires or counts down.

One purchase, $10.00 USD, unlocks importing your own artwork, saving from the composer, and more than one custom collection. It's a single payment, not a subscription — nothing renews, and nothing is billed again.

Payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by Stripe; we never handle your card details directly. The reference price is $10.00 USD; Stripe shows the equivalent in your local currency at checkout where that's set up.

Write to contact@mee.cc within 7 days of purchase and you'll be refunded, no questions — matching Brazil's consumer-protection right of withdrawal for online purchases, extended to everyone regardless of where you're buying from.

No warranty

IconPop is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it's error-free or that it will suit every purpose. Before you rely on it for anything irreplaceable, keep the backups you'd keep anyway — the same caution you'd apply to any tool that touches your files.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mee isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using or being unable to use IconPop. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including Brazilian consumer law where it applies to you.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using IconPop and delete it at any time. We can revoke your license if you materially breach these terms — redistributing the app, for instance — though for an app with no account and no login, that mostly means we'd ask you to stop and expect you to.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and anything material goes in the changelog. Continuing to use IconPop after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection law of the country you live in.
