Privacy Policy

IconPop runs entirely on your Mac. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and nothing the app sends anywhere on its own — no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports phoned home. It has no server to talk to.

Your library — the collections you build, the artwork you import, the icons you compose — is stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/IconPop. It never leaves your Mac unless you move it yourself. Removing an icon or a collection moves it to the Trash, same as any other file; nothing is transmitted, backed up to us, or recoverable by us, because we never had it.

The one thing IconPop reads from your system is the folder icon it's about to replace, and the image you hand it to replace it with. Neither is sent anywhere.

iconpop.mee.cc has no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. It stores two small preferences in your browser's local storage — the language you last picked, and whether you muted the sound effects — so the site remembers them on your next visit. Both stay on your device; neither is sent to us or to anyone else.

Purchases are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe does, under its own privacy policy. Stripe collects what it needs to process the payment and send you a receipt, typically an email address and payment details; that relationship is between you and Stripe. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened, not your card number.

Emailing contact@mee.cc — for support, a refund, or anything else — means we have your email address and whatever you wrote, for as long as it takes to answer you and keep a reasonable record afterward. We don't add it to a mailing list or share it with anyone.

The public feedback board is a separate service (Fider), not ours. Anything you post there is visible to other visitors and covered by Fider's own terms, not this policy.

IconPop isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age — that's the same answer as everywhere else in this policy.

Under Brazil's LGPD, the GDPR, and similar laws, you have rights over personal data held about you — access, correction, deletion, and so on. We hold none of your personal data to begin with, which makes most of those rights moot by default. If you've emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time, and we will.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Meaningful changes — anything that would actually affect what we collect — will also be noted in the changelog.
